2. Add a dash of color by filling a vase with flowers, real of artificial.

3. To add pizzazz, scatter a few pillows with colorful designs and different sizes.

4. Rugs in natural materials will add warmth and richness.

5. Combine function and style through the use of clay bowls and rattan baskets.

6. Take advantage of the changing season and place a huge vase on the floor near the front door. Fill it with the flowers in season (real or artificial). Since the stair case can often be seen from the entry, a garland of the same flowers and leaves that is on the vase will give a nice touch to the banister.

7. Replace the present family pictures that are featured on your wall and mantle.

8. A cluster of candles will create a relaxing mood. Don’t forget to turn off or dim the lights.
